The programme is meant for young people aged 7-12.

All kids and teens of any age like to watch animation films and cartoons – drawn or made from clay, funny or sad, telling stories of people, animals or things…

Is it possible to make your own cartoon? Yes, it is! For this, you need an idea, a pair of hands and special software. Elementary school students can try different animation techniques with help of professionals.

The cartoon makers workshop, including animated toys, animated storylines, drawn and stop-motion animation, will take place in the lobby.

Those who are patient enough, will learn the cutout animation technique. The most restless ones will get to draw their first cartoon with felt-tip pens. Gadget users will create a cartoon using a tablet.

Computer game freaks will get to know the basics of programming and create a simple game on Scratch.
In the big hall, animation films made by young people across the world will be screened.

The Multimedia Day is hosted by CreativeSpace animation studio from Tallinn and Alex Bitškov from Narva.
The workshop is free of charge.

School students are invited to join, accompanied with teachers. The program in the lobby lasts 30 minutes and can host 30-40 participants at a time. To reserve a spot at a certain time slot please register in advance.
Parents can come with children. Kids may also come on their own.
