Third festival venue: Narva
Narva, the easternmost Estonian city, is the third-largest in Estonia by population. Here lies the eastern border of the European Union. The cultural life here is quite diverse. The majestic Narva Castle, the Krenholm factory (Narva’s trademark), the ancient bastions, the beautiful river promenade, the most soulful spot Art Club Ro-Ro, the most independent and free-spirited site Vaba Lava, the most technical creative hub OBJEKT – all contribute to the unique atmosphere of this city.
KinoFF will take place in Narva on November 22th – 27th and will definitely be a nice addition to local cultural life. The events will be held at Narva Art Residency, creative hub OBJEKT, theatre center Vaba Lava and Apollo cinema (Astri keskus, Tallinna mnt.41).
Friday will be packed with events: the Multimedia Day for kids will be followed by a set of full-length children and teen films. Later the best short films made by participants of OBJEKT:shorts filmmaking camp will be screened. The audience will meet the filmmakers, take part in a panel discussion and party!
Days 2 and 3 will offer full-length and short films from all corners of the world, premieres of S77 (short film) and Choice (full-length film) both filmed in Narva, as well as meetings with crew of these two movies.
